Big Red Restaurant & Sports Bar hosts weekly fundraiser for Team Jack in January

Omaha, Neb. -- Big Red Restaurant & Sports Bar in Omaha recently partnered with the Team Jack Foundation for weekly spaghetti dinners to raise over $4,000 in the fight against pediatric brain cancer.

On each Tuesday throughout January the restaurant collected donations as they served up unlimited spaghetti and breadsticks, and hosted weekly raffles for Team Jack swag bags and prizes. The Big Red management and staff sported Team Jack t-shirts and placed Team Jack banners, posters and information about pediatric brain cancer research throughout the restaurant.

Adriana Lopez, Marketing Manager for EHPV Management Group, said that the weekly dinners brought in many local supporters of the Team Jack Foundation but also caught the attention of restaurant regulars and drop-in patrons alike. “The crew saw a lot of familiar faces that continued to attend the feeds each week, and each week did better and better with donations.”

Big Red Restaurant & Sports Bar has been a consistent and generous supporter to the Team Jack Foundation, and restaurant owner Todd Ryan was thrilled with the result of the weekly dinners. “We thought this would be a fun way to help Team Jack, and all of our staff is grateful to partner and learn about the foundation from this experience. It’s a great cause, and we’re proud to be part of the fight for kids who are battling brain cancer. We hope to partner again in the future.”
