Four years ago, Rex Burkhead ate lunch with a little boy diagnosed with pediatric brain cancer. Burkhead, a running back for the Nebraska Cornhuskers, was the 5-year-old's favorite player.


KEARNEY, Neb. – Tri-City Storm fans raised over $16,000 for the Team Jack Foundation in the month of January.


Every time Kansas City Royals outfielder Alex Gordon gets a hit, the Team Jack Foundation will get a donation.


More than 400 people showed up for the third annual Jack-O-Lantern jog Wednesday evening. Students at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln were encouraged to dress in Halloween costumes.


By now everyone is familiar with Husker fanatic Jack Hoffman. His touchdown forever frozen in our memories.


They cover ground at a grueling pace. A 26 mile trek through Omaha on foot.

"Runners to me are very inspiring. Every year in this country, runners raise millions of dollars for cancer research."


No matter where he goes, Jack Hoffman's always ready to take a stand against pediatric brain cancer.

Thursday, he brought smiles and laughter to the capital city as the Team Jack Foundation held its second annual radiothon.
