University of Nebraska Federal Credit Union and Enterprise Car Sales Team Up to Support Team Jack

Monday, November 18, 2019

On Friday, November 15, Enterprise Car Sales presented Team Jack with a $1,500 donation to support child brain cancer research.  Chris Christensen, father of Cole Christesen who passed from a brain tumor in 2012, accepted the donation on behalf of Team Jack. Pictured with Chris for the presentation is Laura Hoeller, Business Development Executive for Enterprise and Dena Noe, Vice President of Marketing & Communications at the University of Nebraska Federal Credit Union.

The University of Nebraska Federal Credit Union began supporting Team Jack at their member cookout in September 2013. The credit union members contributed to Team Jack through a raffle that first year and  have been contributing in one way or another since. In addition, they have have sponsored the annual Team Jack Radioathon since 2015 through the Broadcast House.

"NUFCU supports the awesome work being done by the Team Jack Foundation on behalf of the families with kids suffering with pediatric brain cancer. We are thrilled that our partnership with Enterprise Car Sales has led to the Team Jack Foundation receiving a grant for $1,500," said Dena Noe.

NUFCU began our partnership with Enterprise Car Sales in 2017. Enterprise Holdings encourages their employees to apply for grants to help in the community they serve. Laura Hoeller is one of our main contacts at Enterprise Car Sales and she approached Dena at NUFCU with the idea of the grant. The credit union was thrilled the grant was awarded to the Team Jack Foundation for $1500.

“Enterprise is proud to support our local communities and the causes important to us! Thanks Enterprise for strengthening our communities, one neighborhood at a time!” said Laura Hoeller.

Thank you to the NUFCU and Enterprise Car Sales for your donation and support of the cause!
