Help for Families

While the Team Jack Foundation solely funds research for pediatric brain cancer and works to create national awareness for the disease we are proud to partner with Make-A-Wish.

For a child battling a critical illness, a wish can be a game changer. This one belief guides Make-A-Wish® Nebraska in everything they do. Wishes are more than just a gift or singular event in time. Wishes impact everyone involved—wish kids, volunteers, donors, sponsors, medical professionals and communities.

Since its inception, Make-A-Wish Nebraska has helped grant over 2,750 wishes for children across Nebraska. But we know there are more children who qualify but are never referred. They need your help to ensure every eligible child receives the power of a wish at the time they need it most. Refer a child today by visiting

Having a child with cancer can be devastating to a family's financial well-being. The Hope Portal, launched by the Coalition Against Childhood Cancer (CAC2), is a free patient support tool created to allow childhood cancer families to find support fast and easy. This tool is continually updated and returns customized search results by diagnosis, geographic location, and support category - such as household expenses, cancer camps or medical bills. Check it out below!

"It is our enduring hope that the efforts to build and improve the Hope Portal make it possible for individuals anywhere in the world to navigate the internet and find valuable sources of health information, support, and assistance that ease the many burdens and challenges of childhood cancer." -Vickie Buenger, CAC2 President
