LINCOLN, Neb. -- On a night of celebration dappled with some star-power glitter and the glow of success, Team Jack kept the mission in focus Saturday.

The setting was the fourth annual Team Jack Gala at Embassy Suites in downtown Lincoln - an event put on to raise money for and awareness of pediatric brain cancer, the number-one killer of adolescents, ages 5-12.

Several notables were in the crowd including former Husker football players and Hannah Huston, a former contestant on The Voice.

Former Nebraska linebacker Jeremiah Sirles said, "Football gives you the greatest platform in the world in order to help with things and we're taking advantage of that and will continue to take advantage of that."

Team Jack hopes to raise more money this year than last year when contributions raised more than $400,000.
