Omaha, NE (July 22, 2015)—The Team Jack Foundation is excited to announce their partnership with Jordan Larson-Burbach, former Husker and outside hitter for the USA Volleyball Team and Team USA to raise funds for pediatric brain cancer research.  From July 22-26, Team USA will be playing in the 2015 FIVB Women's Volleyball World Grand Prix Final Round in Omaha, Nebraska at CenturyLink Center.  The six-team, five-day event is the first major international volleyball event, outside of the Olympic Games, to be held in the United States.  This tournament will be about more than just match wins for Team USA, they will be making aces for a cure.

“Having the support of Jordan Larson-Burbach and Team USA for this campaign is a tremendous honor.  Jordan’s involvement with our Foundation has made a huge impact on pediatric brain cancer and this just adds to her legacy of helping us fight,” said Andy Hoffman, Board Chair of Team Jack Foundation.  “We are indebted to Jordan for letting us use her success as a platform to help find a cure for pediatric brain cancer. We hope that the nation will rally around her campaign and help us raise much needed funds for the number one childhood cancer cause of death.

Those who want to join Jordan and Team USA can either make a one-time donation or pledge to donate a specific amount per ace by Team USA for the Aces for a Cure campaign. The proceeds will go to the Team Jack Foundation to fund research for pediatric brain cancer. To make a pledge or single donation today, please visit www.teamjackfoundation.org

In January 2013, Larson became a Team Jack All-Star, a group of elite athletes including Ndamukong Suh, Rex Burkhead, Danny Woodhead, Alex Gordon, Jared Crick and more, to help support Team Jack in their mission to fund pediatric brain cancer.  Through July 27, 2015, the Official Collegiate Licensed Team Jack Childhood Cancer Awareness t-shirt will be on sale for just $8.99.  To purchase your t-shirt, visit www.TeamJackFoundation.org
