OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Things got colorful in Elkhorn on Saturday for a good cause, the Team Jack Color Out Cancer 5K at Ta-Ha-Zouka Park.

This year's event was in memory of Nate Waggoner, an Elkhorn boy, who lost his life due to brain cancer. His family said this was a fitting way to honor Nate. "It just warms your heart, I think, because they are all special people, friends, family new friends, it is just really exciting and that's the way Nathan was," said his mom, Monica Waggoner. "If it was fun and exciting, he was involved."Participants began with white shirts, then doused them in powdered color, then took off for the run.
